Our Specialised Services

Expert care in Endoscopy and advanced treatments for Piles (Haemorrhoids), tailored for your comfort and well-being.

Endoscopy

Endoscopy offers valuable insights into the digestive system through minimally invasive procedures. Gastroscopy (OGD) examines the oesophagus, stomach, and upper small intestine, while colonoscopy focuses on the colon and rectum. These procedures help doctors visualise, diagnose, and sometimes treat digestive conditions. Colonoscopy, in particular, plays a crucial role in colorectal cancer screening by detecting and safely removing precancerous polyps.

When should you see a Colorectal Specialist?

Several symptoms can indicate issues affecting the colon and rectum, some of which may be early signs of serious conditions. It may be time to visit a specialist if you experience any of the following:

  • Blood in the stools
  • Changes in bowel habits
  • Loss of bowel control
  • Changes in stool colour
  • Anal itching or discomfort
  • Unexplained weight loss or changes in appetite
  • Lump in the abdominal or groin region
  • Ongoing abdominal discomfort and swelling

Detect Polyps Early

A colonoscopy screening is recommended for those aged 45 and older, or earlier for those with risk factors. Contact our colorectal specialist for an evaluation or if you are affected by any of the above symptoms.
